We leave Marrakech at 7:00 AM to head towards Ouarzazate, traveling about 200 km through the Atlas Mountains, where you can admire beautiful landscapes and many authentic Berber villages. Our first major stop will be the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a 16th-century fortified village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Many famous movies have been filmed here (Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Prince of Persia… Game of Thrones). We will visit the fortress before continuing to Ouarzazate, the cinema capital of Africa, where we will stop for lunch. After lunch, we will drive towards Agdz and Zagora through the Draa Valley (the palm tree oasis). At Zagora, you will leave the van to ride a camel to the nomad camp just as the sun sets. The camel ride lasts about an hour. We will arrive at the camp and enjoy mint tea, the welcome drink with the nomads, followed by dinner. The rest of the evening will be spent around the campfire with the nomads playing music under a starry sky. We will sleep in nomad tents.

We will wake you up early enough to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, we will return by camel to the van. On the way back to Marrakech, we will stop to visit the Draa Valley (the palm tree oasis), then have lunch in the Atlas Mountains. We will arrive in Marrakech around 6:00 PM.
